Barry Kooser

Growing up in Arvada, Colorado, Barry Kooser always had strong artistic influences from his family, friends and the beautiful surrounding landscape.

After graduating in 1991 with a degree in Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, Barry Kooser began working full time as a Background Artist at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios in Orlando, Florida. His work there with such dedicated and truly talented artists has given him an understanding of craftsmanship and helped him develop a passion for landscape and figurative painting with an emphasis on light, value, color and emotion.
