Born and raised in Paris, France, Frederic de Claremont was exposed to art early on, by parents who made a habit of bringing him every week to one of the numerous Paris museums. De Claremont still considers the City of Lights the art capital of the world. "Paris is not just a city with many museums; it is a museum-city.
